Appearance: Ryder is 5' 10 and has a medium sized body build, due from having a high metabolism. His hair is black but kept extremely short, with just enough to cover his head. His ears and nose are rounded and his eyes are a dark green sometimes mistaken as emerald. His torso and fore arms are decorated with tribal tattoos, starting from his fore arms and stopping above his abs.

Said abs are defined but not yet toned enough to be consider rock hard abs. From the waist down, his lower body muscles are tone and fit, from years of running and biking. His attire normally consists of a simple shirt or a shirt with a simple design along with jeans, his shoes either being black or blue, designs optional. For special occasions he'll, dress up with clothes with more impressive designs or wear a jacket.

As for the colors of his clothes, Blue, Green, Black, Grey or a combination of said colors are usually what he goes for, having an affinity to the kind that can show off his tan skin or tattoos.

forms:

Human: A standard human appearance, his tattoos being the only thing note worthy.

Elemental: His body becomes engulfed in fire, his tattoos becoming visible and colored a dark blue.

Powers:

Manipulation of Fire/Pyrokinesis- Can create fire if there is a sufficient amount of heat in the area and oxygen.

Flight: When in elemental form, he can use the fire carry his body.

Endothermic/Exothermic Skin: As a human, he can absorb and release heat at his own will, since his elemental powers make heat useless against him.

Night Vision: He can locate things via their body heat from a range of five feet.

Regeneration: If the elemental form is damaged, it can heal itself by adsorb heat from the surrounding area, causing a noticeable drop in temperature.

History: One day he saved his little brother and a another child from being killed by a drunk driver, being hit instead. The heroism landed him in the hospital paralyzed from the neck down and with burns, from the subsequent fire that was caused by the driver's crash. Fortunately, the father of the child he saved was a powerful Warlock, and granted him a chance to start over at the cost of old body and identity. He thus reborn as an elemental, attending the Monster School to start his life anew.

Ryder looked at the school, it marked the beginning of his new life, his dark green eyes taking in the scenery. He felt nervous, this fresh start meant he had nothing to go back to or share new experiences with, he felt his heart begin to sink as he thought about it more. He began to walk towards the school, the first stepping stone to his new life, "Guess the first step really is the hardest." He said to himself as he moved on, he pushed aside the doubts and fears and moved forward toward the school, he was going do his best to make his new life as good if not better than the old one.
